This is a comprehensive parametric design for Igus RJMP-01-xx and RJ4JP-01-xx linear bearings. The design includes tables with data for these types of bearings; simply adjust the parameters according to the bearing you want to print. A scale factor can be used to counteract shrinkage effects. The design allows for custom creations. Extra long bearings can be made by modifying the "extra bearing length" parameter, and the mid section from the bearing glide surfaces can be removed or resized. This is particularly useful for creating virtually play-free linear bearings for Prusa i3 concept printers with (printed) X-axis mounts that use LM8LUU or LM8UU linear bearings. This design builds upon a previous creation found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2464185. I print these bearings from POM filament, which is slick and extremely tough. Edit 08-Sept-2017: Extra long printed bearings work exceptionally well with custom parametric bearing housings from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2520976. I created extra long housings and bearings to replace the X-carriage bearings for a E3D modification. Edit: 28-Sept-2017 Two issues were fixed, including setting chamfer boolean to false (capitalization not allowed) and removing an accidental hardcoded 8 in the shaft diameter. Edit 20-Oct-2017: The total bearing length setting for custom long bearings was reverted, as variables are determined at compile time rather than runtime.
