HELP WANTED!These are there different approaches to making parametric icicles, increasingly realistic. But theyV1 just makes a column with varying width (Brownina), but fully symmetric. It does not work in the current OpenSCAD.V2 adds a bit of sideways distortion. It does not work with the current OpenSCAD, but I have an STL from it - there was some dimension error in it that I had to fix in other ways.V3 does a fractal perturbation of the spine and some perturbation of each ring. I find this quite good. However, it does not quite work, it comes out as a non-closed mesh and has to be repaired to print, possibly for the same reason as V2. I am baffled why!Printing is trivial, except it tends towards stringing a lot. Ironically apply heat to get better icicles. The picture shows a print of the one surviving STL.There is a bunch of parameters, but until the mesh problems are fixed, it doesn't make sense as a Customizer.Further ideas: Making the base follow a curve instead of a flat line for hanging off curved surfaceAdding a gap for some LEDs to make them glow a cool blueOptional drop at the end of some of the icicles
