Parametric Hose Coupler

Parametric Hose Coupler

After printing a few cyclone/vortex air filters I needed adapters to connect different brands of vacuums to the filters and from the filters to the dust extraction lines on my little CNC mill. After building a few in FreeCAD I realized that a parameterized design would be useful, able to be adjusted for virtually any two hose sizes. The transition cone between the inlet and outlet is automatically calculated based on the max_slope_angle_deg variable, allowing you to keep it above 45 degrees for no-supports-needed printing. The inner and outer diameters are independently set with variables as well, when setting the size for a reasonable friction fit, allow for a fraction of a millimeter clearance. Note that some hoses are tapered, and you might need to do a little testing before you have it "just right." This is my first OpenSCAD project, please remix and improve it!
