Saw the original <url>https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2716320</url>, looked at the source code and immediately felt the urge to get one in hexagonal shape right away [NERDLOVE]. Written from scratch with ease. It's really easy to modify in OpenSCAD to fit any size round or hexagonal jar you like. You can also make it bigger or smaller if you need to. The corners and edges could use a little rounding, but I didn't get around to adding that yet. Maybe you can help me out with that? It's meant to be mounted with double-sided tape. Don't forget to degrease the surfaces beforehand, especially in a kitchen environment! If you feel like adding a screw mounting hole, go for it! Make and share your creation with others.
