<p>This is a remix of the hexagonal cable storage from here: <a href="https://www.printables.com/model/136632-openscad-fully-parametric-drawer-cable-storage-man">https://www.printables.com/model/136632-openscad-fully-parametric-drawer-cable-storage-man</a></p><p>Enter the number of cells along the X and Y dimension, the cell height (25mm is good), and choose a cell diameter, and this will generate a nice hexagonal pattern of slots for cylindrical batteries. A list of typical cell diameters is included in the SCAD file comments.</p><p>The code was simplified from mofosyne's original, and the parameters are at the top of the SCAD file, making it relatively easy to generate a hexagonal cell pattern for battery storage. Some adjustments were made to the original code so it properly sized the minimum cell width. I removed everything but the hexagonal cells, which are perfect for storing cylindrical batteries vertically. Material use is minimized and print times are about as good (or better) than any other battery storage trays.</p><p>Feel free to repurpose or remix this project, but <strong>please remember to give attribution to mofosyne</strong> who I sourced this code from.
