Parametric Herringbone and Helical Gears

Since my friend introduced me to the herringbone gear from rhys-jones' Herringbone Geared Extruder blueprints, I've been keen on making customized versions. A parametric design would allow us to create bespoke gear sizes for various projects or robot parts using OpenSCAD. While it's a work in progress, this could be beneficial even in its current state, and we can collaborate as a community to optimize the process further. With 3D printing, there's no price difference between a herringbone and spur gear - an advantage not found in other manufacturing methods!
