Parametric Guitar Wall Mount
grabcad
Here is a simple hanging wall mount for guitars that can be 3d printed and assembled with 2 shoulder bolts and 2 hex nuts. The design is (nearly) 100% parametric, allowing you to change the spacing for your neck, plate thickness, and other important features. The bolts hardware themselves are not parametric, and are simply downloaded from Mcmaster carr. So once you have your changes made, add simply add and join the new hardware. The beauty of this design rests in the shoulder bolts, as it allows the mount to not be susceptible to layer orientation and adds strength in both axis. The bolts also allow for you to wrap them in a sleeve of your choosing, whether that be PLA, paracord, rubber, leather etc.I recommend printing this solid with no infill, or at least very high (75%+) to ensure that any can shear load put on the bolts will not break the plastic supporting it. You should not need to print this with supports if you are using layer cooling, as there is a only small amount of bridging over the hex holes. If you do not have layer cooling on your printer, I recommend using supports.
