Parametric Goggle Battery Holder

Parametric Goggle Battery Holder

This is an extremely simple way to attach a battery to FPV goggles. I created it as a temporary fix while figuring out how to set up my DJI goggles. Having the battery in my pocket was driving me completely insane. This setup is basically just a rubber band, one side is designed to hold your battery, and the other is sized to fit the DJI head strap. I print two of them and slip them over both ends of the battery. If I position the battery close to the goggles, it doesn't even touch my head. The power cord for my soldering iron provides a shorter hookup than the DJI cable. Battery sizes vary greatly, so you'll likely need to adjust the size of the battery side. I made it slightly wider in one direction and slightly narrower in the other than the 3S LiPOs I'm using. The strap side is sized for the DJI goggle straps, but it could be easily resized for any strap that detaches from the goggles. Of course, FatShark style straps have a battery pocket, so there's not much need for this print on most other goggles.
