This is a customizable OpenSCAD script that generates a custom Glidecam gimbal. You can adjust settings to fit various bearing and hardware sizes. Materials required for basic assembly: Plastics M5 Bolts and nuts Washers 1x Primary Bearing, type 6007 8x Secondary Bearings, type 605 3/4 inch ID PVC (Optimal) Main Shaft: Use a monopod such as Dolica-WT-1003-67-Inch-Lightweight-Monopod or equivalent. To assemble the gimbal completely, you'll need your bearings, hardware, and materials for handle and main shaft construction. Default values use 3/4 inch PVC for the handle and a monopod for the main camera mount. If you want to reduce costs, replace the monopod with PVC. Total cost for basic design using a monopod is approximately $30. With only PVC shafts, the cost drops to about $15. Note: All dimensions are measured in millimeters. Note 2: STL files on this page utilize base values.
