Parametric Glasses with OpenSCAD and SVG
thingiverse
Inspired by Ericsko, this model is built using OpenSCAD. To customize, you'll need SVG outlines of the following: Lens (you'll definitely need your own) Frame (half of it) Arm (just one, of course) Take a photo of above parts. Create an SVG using tools like InkScape (Path>Trace Bitmap tool). Run the .scad file to load the SVG file, then adjust the hinge location. The hardest part is fitting the lens to frame. Play with scale until the frame fits the lens model (lens model creates the “hole” in the frame, so you'll need accurate size and shape). Nose pad is under development.
