Parametric Foot Designer
thingiverse
This is a parametric foot designer that I created in Open SCAD, as I often find myself designing unusual feet for various projects. When working on ThinkerCad, I decided to automate the process using Open SCAD. You can see how this "Customizer" was developed by watching our video here: https://youtu.be/xx6JXCo-8pk. Print Settings Printer: Wanhao i3 Duplicator Rafts: It doesn't matter Supports: No Resolution: As required for your project Infill: As required for your project Notes: While PLA or ABS can work, I suggest using TPU (http://amzn.to/2bdtKaw) or other flexible filament (such as http://amzn.to/2b1jh1b) to create a cushioned pad. You may also want to consider purchasing a handy hardware kit from Amazon (http://amzn.to/2b5Dr7o) that includes M3 mounting hardware for connecting the feet to your project and giving it a professional look.
