Parametric Five Gallon Space Bucket
thingiverse
WARNING:\nDon't let kids fall into buckets and drown.\nKeep children away from buckets with even a small amount of liquid in them.\nThe "ounces" value can be changed in the Customizer to scale up or down.\nTo create attachments for 5-gallon buckets, I designed a more accurate shape than just duplicating the general form. This model is a precise 1:1 scale replica. If you want to make 3D-printable miniature buckets, adjust the parameters so you don't lose any detail in the process.\nSome parts are only 1/16th of an inch thick, so scaling down the model for H0 (1:87) would require a printer that can print at 18.25 microns or smaller... a printer with a 0.4mm nozzle could theoretically print this bucket scaled down 25.2% without losing any details.\nIf you need to subtract the bucket's external surface in OpenSCAD, use the function "bucket_space()" which omits the rings and handle attachment parts that "bucket()" includes, saving some processing time in the process.\nPrint Settings:\nPrinter: Monoprice Select Mini 15365\nRafts: Yes\nSupports: Yes\nResolution: 100um\nInfill: 100%
