Parametric Eurorack Rail

Parametric Eurorack Rail

thingiverse

Here's an Experimental Eurorack Rail for Sliding Nuts and Threads. This design accommodates sliding nuts and potentially threaded strips, but I haven't tested the latter yet. Adjust the parameters to suit your needs and accommodate nuts of various sizes. Defaults are set for standard M3 square nuts on sliding rails and M6 nuts to secure the rail to a bracket. If the nuts feel tight, try manually moving them around. This design works well with my Parametric Eurorack Bracket, so check it out when you get the chance. I recommend printing this rail with stiff filament like carbon-fiber PLA for optimal results. Keep in mind that this is an experimental design, and I make no claims about its safety or durability. Some power modules rely on metal rails for heat dissipation, which a plastic rail may not provide adequately.
