Parametric ergonomic support with wrist rest for Apple Magic Trackpad
thingiverse
This design builds on the original parametric ergonomic support for Apple's Magic Trackpad, enabling users to angle their trackpad comfortably. The platform now offers space for resting your wrist while providing customizable features like adjustable wrist rest length from 0cm to 12cm. If you need a similar solution tailored specifically to the Magic Trackpad 2, I have a project in progress that's accessible here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2205899 Printing this model effectively requires using low infill settings of about 15% or even lower if your printer allows it. For the print itself, colorFabb PLA/PHA works well on an Ultimaker 2. Setting a layer height of 0.2mm at speeds of 100mm/s and 220°C while maintaining a bed temperature around 60°C results in optimal results. Please note that this design's correct dimensions are 130.2 x 218.0 x 41.8 mm. To further enhance the print, consider adding rubber feet from Kenisis Advantage keyboards as well as their signature palm pads for increased usability.
