Parametric endmill index/holder
thingiverse
A simple yet reliable holder for some affordable end-mills I picked up to efficiently remove support material from recessed holes. You can easily use the Customizer in OpenSCAD 2019.05 or later to match your specific endmills. It also worked well with a drill bit, making it a versatile tool. To insert an endmill, simply angle it and then push down firmly. The small ridges on the holder ensure a secure fit, even when you turn it upside down and shake it gently. When you need to access a mill, just press down on its bottom, causing the tip to pop up and be removed easily. Although it may take some gentle assistance from small pliers during the first few uses, the ridges will eventually wear in, providing a customizable fit.
