Parametric encoder wheels
thingiverse
Create encoder wheels for use with fork sensors or light barriers. Follow these steps: 1. Design and export the encoder file in OpenSCAD, ensuring thin lines for interrupter areas. Export as a 2D image. 2. Import the image into a vector graphics program like Inkscape to fill the interrupter areas as needed. 3. Print the design on a transparent sheet using your printer, set to maximum contrast for optimal visibility. Note that you may need to print twice for better reliability. For 3D printing: This feature is not yet tested; generate, print, and enjoy when available.
With this file you will be able to print Parametric encoder wheels with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Parametric encoder wheels.
