And while there are already quite a few designs here on Thingiverse, none was exactly what I was looking for. In the end I settled for <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3406724">thing:3406724 by JB86</a>. It printed quite well and serves its purpose, but I decided to make my own design for my next projects. This resulted today in this little library module.</p> <p>The box is defined basically by its inside dimensions and the thickness of the walls. The latter is also used as a parameter to round off the edges. The lower and upper part of a box are meant to be configured individually, optimized to be used with an overlapping seam.</p> <p>Mounting studs and drill holes on the base XY-plane can be configured using arrays of coordinates and parameters. All parameters are explained in the following drawing. There is also an example of a small box provided.
