Parametric Dovetail Markers

Parametric Dovetail Markers

prusaprinters

Inspired by Dovetail markers for Woodworking by sablebadger, this is a rather too-complete set of dovetail markers. All of these are 25 × 50 mm. Designed and made for Richard W. at The Unplugged Woodshop, Toronto. Print with 2–3 shells and with the label side down to get a smooth edge for marking. The OpenSCAD model takes an absurd amount of time to render because the labels are smoothed using the minkowski() function. This model is also a great workout for seeing how true the axes of your printer are! Print Settings Printer: Reach 3D Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 35 % Notes: If you have to print with a brim, trim it off carefully so it won't interfere with the working edges. Because of the stark differences in section thickness this might print a little skew-whiff in ABS. Category: Hand Tools
