# Moved over from Takerbot's Thingiverse... The holder is currently being tested in one of the children's rooms. If it fails, I will hold them accountable for the blame. Do NOT print any of the provided STL files; these are only examples to get you started. Create your own unique designs! The OpenSCAD source file contains detailed descriptions for every single variable and should be self-explanatory. The special variable PRINTPART, located around line 70, allows you to switch from edit mode to print or test-mode instantly. // ============================================ // PRINT/EDIT PART // // 1 = EDIT -> use this to edit/tune the holder // 2 = TEST PRINT -> a very small print to check clamp diameter // 3 = REAL PRINT -> use this to export the STL model // PRINTPART = 1; If PRINTPART is set to "2", only the half of a rod clamp will be generated. This might come in handy to manually tune the clamp diameter to fit the rod carefully. Be cautious with angles greater than ~70 degrees: - The holder may not be strong enough. - By design, the thickness of the top part may vary significantly.
