A parametric Cotton Reel is created by joining two identical halves, making it simple to retrofit for reprap rods without disassembly, serving as a filament spool holder. It's also useful for cable grommets, such as sealing an enclosure or wall after passing a terminated monitor cable through. To adjust, modify the two heights and three diameters in the SCAD file. After printing two identical cotton reel halves, mate them together (easier when still warm from the printer), taking advantage of 3D printer layers for a snug fit. If needed, increase the "S" shim value for easier mating.
