Since I didn't have a suitable climbing plant support for my planted tomatoes, I made one in OpenScad. At first, I had printed everything nicely in white/orange, but then I couldn't resist the inner urge to give the climbing plant support an old and rusty look. So it suits me better, but everyone likes it as they like. ;-) Of course, I'm providing you with the OpenScad file, so anyone can adjust the essential parameters according to their needs. Since the ring was too big for my printer, I divided it into three segments. These are glued together after printing. I use "UHU-Hard-Plastic" for this. In addition, three rods are glued into the ring on one side. The other side is connected to the other ring by cable ties. Print parameters: 40% filling density 0.2mm layer height 4 vertical contours 4 horizontal contour sleeves 80mm/s print speed In the area of the ring connectors, I increased the filling density to 90%, as well as where the rod is glued in/fixed. Support is only required in the ring connector area. With $fn=120 the rendering takes a little longer; I set $fn to 36 during development. When everything is ready, I finally set it to 120 and calculate the final STL. With a successful print, I would be very happy about a Like! Greetings Hardy
