To create a versatile cardbox template with lid, I learned OpenSCAD's basic commands. This 3D design approach was fascinating! Customize your box by measuring your cards or sleeves in millimeters. All parameters are self-explanatory, except 'extra space,' which determines how much room the lid leaves for easier fitting. Adjust this value according to your printer, as it applies to all sides of the box.
