Parametric Camera Phone Stand!

Parametric Camera Phone Stand!

So all the cool kids these days are creating animated GIFs, but why should they have all the fun right? We decided to jump in both feet first and make our own time-lapse GIFs in portrait orientation instead of landscape. To do this, we started with a time-lapse video, then converted it online to a GIF. However, we needed two things: a way to hold my old iPhone 4s in portrait mode and be able to position the phone on the table at the right height to film my Monoprice Mini Delta. We designed our own solution and made it parametric, too! While the STL is for the iPhone 4s, the Fusion 360 file is parametric, which means you simply enter your phone's dimensions, and Fusion will generate one to fit your phone! We also used a standard ball head to mount on top of a duck foot mount to hold the phone/camera. Major Favor: if you make one of these, please post the Make and share it with the community!
