Parametric Cable Tie
thingiverse
This is a parametric cable tie remixed from the really great on created by Festina3D (see source). I love that little tie, but even the large one from the source didn't handle the kinds of cables I was trying to tie. I also wanted something like it more robust I'll use for camping and kayaking. So, I decided to recreate it (in a way) and provide the OpenSCAD file. Within the file, there are three parameters to define the basic width, number of segments in the length, and the thickness of the final tie. With this design, you can make one any length and thickness. Just to prove I could, I made one 330mm long, and it still only took about 90 minutes to print in high resolution. Enjoy, and thanks to Festina3D for the inspiration.
