Parametric but hopefully intuitive guitar pick
thingiverse
Everything gets expensive, even guitar picks get expensive! I hadn't given it much thought ever since i discovered PETG, but after feeling particularly ripped off by my local music store (a bag of gold and a kidney for 5 guitar picks that weren't even exactly what i wanted anyway), i figured, it's time to give this a go. It's an ongoing experiment, but so far, i'm really impressed! There are plenty of models out there, but what i wanted, was a parametric one, which uses sensible/intuitive numbers (mainly width and length, tip radius, and some way to control the rest of the curves without it getting too complex). This should make it fairly easy to recreate existing picks just by measuring them and playing a little with the values, as well as customize something completely new and crazy. This is also my first experience with the Customizer. I'll probably add some more stuff in the future, but in my enthusiasm i wanted to already share what i have so far. Remember: Every 3d-printed guitar pick is one not bought from The System! Join the revolution now! (-:
