Parametric Broom Holder

Parametric Broom Holder

The Disruptit's Broom Holder concept is impressive, but it has a single size that doesn't accommodate all types of brooms and mops due to their varying dimensions. Additionally, it prints with flanges pointing upwards, causing stress on the layers resulting in cracks. To rectify this, I redrew the same design as an open-source Parametric OpenSCAD object. Measure your desired broom and adjust the dimensions accordingly for a perfect fit. Moreover, this redesign prints upright to prevent layer cracking. To use it, customize the variables at the beginning of the scad file with your broom measurements, render, and print. The existing parameters are set for an average-sized broom and standard drywall screws. The screw holes are recessed to avoid interference with the broom, so ensure the screw size matches your selection.
