parametric book display stand
thingiverse
I built this book stand for my wife, so she can proudly display her books at a fair. Just enter the dimensions of the book or other items like DVD boxes, then adjust the height, width, or angle to your preference. You can also add a frame to hold loose sheets of paper, such as flyers. The wall thickness when printing should be no less than the value for "t_wand" in the SCAD file. You can print it without support or infill, and in most cases, the stand will be rigid enough. If you want extra stability, simply drill a hole at the bottom, fill it with sand, and seal it again with hot glue.
