This model is a remix of Parameterized BILLY bookshelf, modified by aesedepece on Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:21844), to allow precise control over scaling for dollhouse miniatures. Instructions to build a miniature BILLY bookshelf: To create a tiny replica of the iconic IKEA bookcase: Set parameters in millimeters for height, width, depth, and board thickness by either using default values or manually entering new ones; default settings will produce a standard 6-shelf BILLY bookcase. Determine how many shelves you want - adjust the shelves variable accordingly. To replicate a smaller model like the IKEA 3-shelf unit, halve the height variable from 2020 to 1010 and change the shelves variable to 3. Decide whether or not to include skirting or a back on your bookshelf by adjusting these variables. Specify the downscale factor of your bookcase using the scalefactor variable - set this value higher for smaller miniatures, such as setting it to 24 for a 1/24 scale model. Compile and export to STL for printing.
