I needed a drain for my bathroom, so I decided to build one instead of going to the store at an odd hour in the morning. I printed it up and it works fine. It took some time to make sure it was parametric before publishing. The design uses inches, but you can remove the inch variable from lines and then use metric units instead. For example, default is 1.4 times the inch value, just remove the *inch part without changing the inch variable's scale because wall thickness of drain walls relies on it for calculations. I have tested the design with diameters ranging from 0.5 inches to 15 inches (and I could spend time making it scale up past 15 inches or 380mm, but it doesn't seem necessary). I printed one out about 1.4 inches in diameter with a default height of 0.4 inches or around 10mm. You can change the diameter, lip size, and quantity and thickness of grids for filtering. Be sure to preview it first and make sure the lip size is adjusted correctly as well. If you don't want a lip, just set the size to the same as the top diameter. If all you need to do is scale it in slicer software such as Cura, I have provided STL files for 20mm and 1 inch drain sizes for easy scaling conversions without using parametric OpenSCAD. If scaling depth is 10mm or about 0.4 inches for reference.
