Parametric Archimedes screw pump
thingiverse
This is the core of an Archimedes screw pump. If you run the OpenSCAD file, you can adjust it in many different ways to suit your needs. It has a special lip at each end that allows you to connect multiple pumps together for heavy lifting. It also features a raised area in the middle where you can install a bearing, such as one with an inner diameter of 64 mm from Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3311118). You should print the shorter version first to ensure that the overhangs work properly. The design and terminology for this pump were inspired by "THE TURN OF THE SCREW: OPTIMAL DESIGN OF AN ARCHIMEDES SCREW" by Chris Rorres of Drexel University, which can be found at http://cicada.cs.drexel.edu/~crorres/screw/screw.pdf.
