Parametric anti-crossover microphone cap
thingiverse
This cover shields against unwanted sound from other instruments. It's designed to work with my earlier shockmount (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2567703). During a big band recording session, I noticed the percussion microphone was picking up too much noise from drums and horns. To solve this issue, I created this cap as a shield. Inside, I added some felt for sound absorption; you could also use foam as an alternative. I didn't plan to share it until after printing, so the OpenSCAD file is in Dutch. However, making adjustments should be straightforward.
