Parametric Angle
thingiverse
The initial purpose of this Parametric Angle was to strengthen a Prusa Mendel frame, but it can be modified for multiple uses due to its full parametric nature. Adjust length, angle, thickness, etc., according to your needs. The files configuration.scad, metric.scad, functions.scad, and teardrop.scad are borrowed from Prusa Mendel and licensed under GPL. To assemble precompiled versions, you'll need 4-8 m3 bolts and nuts. Choose among three precompiled options: "Cylinder" and "Teardrop," both cylindrical but teardrop easier to print; or "Cube" for rods with a rectangular shape. Create a custom version by downloading all .scad files, ensuring correct naming, then edit parameters in angle.scad's "Local Settings." Compile and render the design before exporting as STL. OpenScad (http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/OpenSCAD_User_Manual, http://www.openscad.org/) guides you through the source file editing process.
With this file you will be able to print Parametric Angle with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Parametric Angle.
