This SCAD file is designed for creating customized clips suitable for plastic Clippard air tanks on FRC robots. It allows users to adjust various aspects such as base offset, hole placement, and thickness/height to suit individual needs. The design can also be strung together to hold multiple tanks. A three-tank holder is included in the file, but it requires rotation for fitting on a Prusa I3 build plate. The STL files from OpenSCAD may need repairing using NetFabb Studio before printing. Remember to print with 3-4 shells and 40% infill to ensure durability, and adjust the height and inside diameter based on your specific tank model. Note that some FRC teams have experienced tank explosions due to improper handling or over-tightened hose clamps; always insert tanks carefully by sliding one end in versus snapping down through the clip for safety reasons. Additionally, different printers may result in varying tolerances, so it's essential to measure before inserting the tanks to avoid stress on them.
