Parametric Accessible Position Indicator with 3D Pointer Designed for seamless attachment to cylindrical knobs or shafts. The device eliminates parallax, ensuring accurate mode selection from the start every time you use your washing machine. This innovation also makes it possible for individuals who are blind to easily identify the position of cylindrical mode selection knobs through touch. Originally designed for Koenic washing machines, the OpenSCAD source file allows easy adaptation to other models with different-sized knobs. To install, simply screw in an M3 screw and hex nut over the existing knob or onto any cylindrical shaft. I also created a smaller version to control the friction brake on my birding tripod, allowing me to feel its position without visually checking it.
