Here is a parametric v-slot slide nut SCAD file designed specifically for 20 series extrusion systems. Once printed, these nuts function identically to metal counterparts often included in printer kits or sourced from online marketplaces like eBay. Initially, screw the nut onto the extruder's threaded rod before placing it within the system's extrusion channel and tightening securely. As you turn the nut, it will rotate 90 degrees within its slot, effectively locking it into position. To customize your own nuts with alternative thread sizes, simply download the provided SCAD file and DXF files in addition to the included STL files, which are formatted for use with 3mm screw threads. Printing without support material is recommended.
