Parameterized U-lock holder for rear bike rack (Bontrager MIK Deluxe rack and Kryptonite New York lock)

There are three unique parts, each of which must be printed twice:

ULock cylinder holder (2x) maintains spacing between cylinder and rack. It is intended to be relatively loose, as it only holds the cylinder in place while attaching the other brackets. This part could be simplified to a non-snapping spacer.

ULock shackle holder_1 (2x) maintains spacing between shackle and rack. It is intended to be relatively tight, but similarly could be simplified to a non-snapping spacer.

ULock shackle holder_2 (2x) constrains the lock firmly in the vertical direction. It is intended to be relatively tight, and must be manually engaged and disengaged.

The files are fully parameterized in Fusion 360. These sizes work well for my rack (~10.5mm OD), lock (~19mm OD shackle, ~40mm OD cylinder), and printer but you may need to tweak them. Since these are extruded profiles with no other features, I have included DXFs as well.

My lock came loose in traffic while testing this; please use caution.

Printed with out of PETG, 4-5 perimeters (no top/bottom/infill) with a 0.4mm nozzle.

The attached photos are a sequence with lock…
1. engaged
2. side clips disengaged
3. main clips disengaged
4. totally disengaged

Reverse this sequence to re-attach the lock.
