Parameterized Power Strip Mount

Parameterized Power Strip Mount

This is a fully parameterized mount for power strips, but it will fit any other rectangular thing you want to mount on a flat surface (like my Dell PSU).

I found some designs here, but none fitted the strips I had at home.

The .3mf file provided is just an example, and will fit a power strip with the following dimensions (that's the one you see in the pictures):

Width: 53mm
Height: 41mm

To customize, you will need OpenScad and the dimensions of your power strip (just measure them but account for a little clearance, .5mm worked for me). Then get the .scad file, open it and fill in your dimensions at the top. Make sure the mount is not to wide, so it will not cover any power sockets and make sure the power cord will fit through the hole (there are parameters for those dimensions, too). All dimensions are in millimeters.

Print Settings

Perimeters:

5

Infill:

50%

Filament:

PETG

Notes:

I also used PETG, but I don't see, why PLA or anything else wouldn't work.
