Does your dog or cat occasionally get water splashed out of its drinking bowl? This cover lets you add a small anti-splash lip to the edge of any bowl. The attached .stl file will handle a 76.2mm radius bowl with a 7mm wall thickness. If your bowl has a different thickness, the original Fusion360 file is attached and parameterized for easy changes. To change the size: 1) Open the file. 2) Hit Modify -> Change Parameters. 3) Under Sketch 2, change the variable named "bowlRadius" to your radius. 4) Under Sketch 2, change the variable named "bowlWallThickness" to your bowl's wall thickness. =====Small Printer Note===== If you have an especially small printer (like my Monoprice Mini), you can still make one! In Modify -> Change Parameters, change the "revolve1" operation's parameter named "degreesToPrint" from 360 to 120. This will let you print 1/3 of the cover at a time and glue it together after printing. =====SAFETY WARNING===== We all love our pets, but we also want them to stay healthy. Not all plastics are food-safe. 3D printing leaves many small pockets in the plastic that can breed bacteria. If you're printing this, I highly recommend: 1) Using a plastic rated as food-safe. 2) Covering the printed cover with a food-safe epoxy before use. You may also want to research further on 3D printing and food safety to ensure you know any other safety concerns I might have missed.
