Parameterized modular Raspberry Pi camera mount for Ender 3
thingiverse
A highly customizable and adaptable camera attachment system designed specifically for connecting a Raspberry Pi cam to an Ender-3's Y-bracket. This innovative mount allows for effortless detachment, making it ideal for utilization in multiple projects. To assemble the camera holder, a single 20mm M2.5 cap-head screw and nut are required to connect the holder to the mount. The provided pre-made lengths offer flexibility, but users have the option to customize the length of the mount using OpenSCAD, ranging from 52mm to 120mm. For optimal results when generating STL files, utilizing the "show test" feature is recommended to facilitate smooth test-fits. It's essential to note that this design requires OpenSCAD version 2019.05 or later for proper functionality. On November 26th, 2019, an update was implemented to address a critical issue where the camera mount with the current hinge was not properly attached in the initial photo. Additionally, it is worth mentioning that the cable connected to the Raspberry Pi cam is securely attached to a minimal pi case.
