Parameterized Funnel

<p>This is a Fusion 360 parameterizable funnel.</p><p>I created this because I had to fill the base of a standing punching bag with sand and the fill hole had about an inch of clearance from the bag itself. &nbsp;I tried the few different funnels I had and none of them worked. &nbsp;Most of them the narrow hole was too small or the shape of the funnel was not smooth enough so the sand would stick to it. &nbsp;With all of those funnels it took me almost an hour to put just one bag of sand in, and it took 6 bags of sand.</p><p>So I designed this funnel to be completely straight on one side and widens as it increases in height on all other sides, the most directly opposite the straight side. &nbsp;This right angle design kept the sand from sticking and will allow a lot of material or liquid to enter the container below quite rapidly. &nbsp;Needless to say I did the other 5 bags in less than an hour.</p><p>I parameterized this design and realized after doing so it can make all sorts of shaped funnels by changing the user parameter ‘NarrowCenterToWideCenterOffset’. &nbsp;Setting it to ‘0’ makes a standard shaped funnel. &nbsp;Setting it to ‘( WideOuterDiameter / 2 ) - ( NarrowOuterDiameter / 2 )’ makes a right angle funnel.</p><p>Design created in Autodesk Fusion 360 Personal</p>
