Create a customized drain screen for your sink using OpenSCAD software. Design includes a top plate with square holes and a short sleeve that fits inside the drain pipe. Adjustable parameters help achieve the desired grid size. Note that fine grids may not print correctly on poorly tuned MakerBots. Attached STL file is illustrative only; adjust plate_diameter, sleeve_outer_diameter, square_hole_size and square_hole_spacing according to your sink. Print with a raft or raftless for a successful outcome. Say goodbye to lost razors and toothpaste caps down the drain!
