Parameterized Development Board Holder
thingiverse
Based on MaikaiGuy's Arduino DUE mount design, this model fits many small microcontroller boards like the SimpleCortex. The dimensions are tailored for easy snap-fit installation while maintaining access to all on-board connectors. You can customize features such as tapered screw holes and finger grip for removal purposes. Moreover, external tabs for screwing or sewing fabric mounting are also available. To use with a SimpleCortex board, simply print the model; otherwise, measure your board's dimensions using calipers, insert them into the OpenSCAD file, render, export and print. Ensure to insulate between screws and the board if you opt for internal screw holes to avoid short-circuiting. Some components may require adjusting to ensure flat placement on the board; otherwise, subtract a shape from the bottom surface for clearance, as demonstrated by MaikaiGuy.
