Parameterized cable gland

Parameterized cable gland

thingiverse

This is a cable gland that relies on "fingers" pressed against a gasket by a cap.\r\n\r\nA nut attached to the core of the gland should be used while screwing on the cap, whereas the loose nut is utilized to attach the gland core to the box from the inside.\r\n\r\nKey parameters are listed in a spreadsheet within the supplied FreeCAD document. You'll likely want to shorten the length of the core, which currently stands at 20 mm and corresponds to a common component size. This value should be adjusted upwards for thicker walls.\r\n\r\nUpdate 2018-02-08:\r\n\r\nAll files have been updated with modified cap and nut dimensions providing higher strength. The previous version had an issue with the top of the cap easily breaking off when printed with PLA.
