Parameterized battery pack with contacts

thingiverse

Create your own custom battery pack with adjustable thickness and side wall distance! This design is based on Guru's parameterized Battery compartment (thingiverse.com/thing:5051). Added simple electrical connections method, tested with 2-AAA and 4-AAA battery packs for proof of concept. Nuts are embedded in contact with positive and negative poles, M3 bolts provide electrical access from the outside. Batteries can now be connected in serial, thanks to eaglepex's contribution (thingiverse.com/eagleapex). Follow these steps: 1) Print your battery pack with desired parameters, 2) Embed nuts into slots using a trick mentioned in instructions, 3) Insert batteries with alternating poles for serial connection, 4) Insert bolts and set electrical connections ensuring no short circuits. Instructions for building a 2-battery or 4-battery pack are available in the linked images. Happy printing!
