I'm sporting a J-head on my trusty makerfarm Prusa i3 8" - the fan duct from Thingiverse's http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:351280 caught my eye, so I fired up the printer and gave it a go, only to discover that the fan shroud would come crashing into my build plate. Rather than fiddle with the fan shroud, I decided to revamp the fan bracket in OpenSCAD, figuring it'd be a breeze to tweak again whenever needed. I dialed up the print settings like this: - 0.4mm layer height - 3 perimeters - 1 top and bottom solid layers - 20% rectilinear infill - No support material in sight - Translucent white PLA at my disposal - Hotend temperature: 180c - Bed temperature: 70c
