Parallel-Tracking Googly Eyes
thingiverse
Wow! Check out this amazing Googly Eye assembly set that you can print at home. The Googly Eyes are perfectly matched to move and orbit together in perfect sync. Don't think you can outrun their hypnotic stare? Think again! These eyes will follow your every step, no matter where you go! The single-print model features a clever design with a joining bar that allows the eyes to move smoothly in their sockets. It's like magic - pure genius! Another great example of already-assembled printing technology that really delivers. I can only imagine how cool it would be if these eyes had differently colored eyeballs, printed using dual-head extruders. Hats off to anyone who manages to pull this off and shares a photo online! This set is surprisingly easy to print with the right settings - simply use a raft on your extrusion printer and attach supports that touch the baseplate. Instantly, all joints will be working like a charm when you remove the support material.
