Parallel Line Tool

When building my model railroad layout, I typically mark where the roads will be with a sharpie. To achieve more precise and adjustable lines, I designed this simple device in Tinkercad. It requires only a screw, washer, and nut to secure the two parts together. Simply insert two sharpies into their designated holders and adjust the tool to your desired width for perfectly parallel lines. I added two holes to allow for tightening the sharpies within their holder; however, after using this device for six months, I discovered that no additional tightening was necessary beyond inserting the pens into the tool itself.
