Parallel Line Drawing Tool (Parametric)

thingiverse

This parametric parallel line drawing tool is perfect for classroom or home use, allowing you to easily draw items that require consistently spaced lines such as musical staffs, tablature (TAB), guitar chord diagrams, coordinate graphs, and multiplication tables. Customize the number of lines, line distance, pen diameter, grip dimensions, and more to suit your needs. Print it with two perimeters, two solid layers, 10% infill, and a 0.4mm layer height, using just about 1.4m of 3mm filament (approximately $0.25). Snap writing implements in place and hold the jig between your thumb and index finger to draw parallel lines across any surface. The default settings are designed for Expo dry erase markers spaced 30mm apart, but you can modify parameters for different tools like chalk, crayons, or pencils.
