Parallel Jaw Pliers
prusaprinters

Parallel jaw pliers: open the handles and the jaws move apart while the gripping surfaces remain parallel to each other.

Print two jaws and one each of handle A and B. Print the parts in the orientation shown. You may want to use support for the counter-bored holes on the handles.

You will also need one M3x8mm socket head screw for the central pivot, and four M3x6mm socket head screws to attach the jaws to the handles. Each screw is a clearance fit on one part and self-taps into the other.

I printed the jaws in black PETG and the handles in orange PLA, both from AMZ3D.

Originally published on Thingiverse in June 2018 as https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2955200

Category: Hand Tools
