The Paralenz camera is a great piece of kit for any diver that is looking for something simple to use, even with thick gloves. One issue with both Gopro and Paralenz cameras is that they are pre-focused for only wide-angle picture taking; however, there are third-party macro/close-up lenses for the Gopro camera. These lenses require a custom mount and adapter to use with the Paralenz camera. The parts I designed are specifically for the Paralenz Vaquita camera (released in 2021) paired with the Backscatter Flip MacroMate lens (listed in the parts list below). Once the three parts are printed and cleaned, the holes will need to be tapped for M3 (3mm) screws (listed in the parts list below) and the matting part reamed to 3mm. The Backscatter Flip frame is held on by replacing its 3M screw with a much longer screw and the long hole on the printed part fully tapped to 3mm. This is possibly one of the harder steps of putting the parts together.
